Directing thoughts to think positive - four easy ways you must try!

Thoughts! From getting up in the morning till the night we think something on the other.  There are thousands of thoughts coming on your mind. A new study have found that everyday the average person has more than 6000 thoughts on their mind.

Sometimes we think about some situation too much that is called over thinking. What are we suppose to do if you are focused upon unwanted thoughts that are opposite of your desire.

Mediation:

Sit in a quiet place where you won’t be interrupted by anything even your phone. Wear comfortable clothing. It does not matter if you sit on the floor or in a chair or in the bed. What is important is that your body is comfortable.

Close your eyes relax your body and breathe. Slowly Inhale and draw air in lungs. Hold it for some seconds and exhale slowly to release the air. If any thought pop up to your mind. Just release that thought and come back to focusing on breathing.  You can mentally count your breaths in and out.

This is state of relaxing your mind to think good things.

Pivoting:

Pivoting thoughts meaning thinking positive thoughts about negative situation. Suppose you have to present a talk on urgent basis which you had not been  informed before so instead of panicking and thinking "How is it possible in short time to prepare" tell yourself "You can do it", think of situation where you had presented very confidently before and believe you can do it this time too.

Hobby:

Everyone has a hobby. Do something which makes you forget everything. May it be painting, drawing, dancing, swimming. If you don't have such hobby go on walk in nature, have glance of beautiful sunset or watch a kid playing; see how that kid enjoy every movement. You can also talk to your friend, video call.

Reading:

Reading  could really help you to switch your mind to content you are reading. It is also proven that reading reduced stress, also it can improve your vocabulary and get to learn new words.

Thank You

Love and Gratitude😊😊
